Asfa Bihari is the Appointed Actuary at PNB MetLife, with nearly two decades of experience in the life insurance industry.
She is responsible for overseeing the actuarial function, including statutory and shareholder reporting, product pricing, business planning, and risk management, while ensuring robust actuarial governance and oversight across the organization. She is leading key aspects of the company’s IFRS 17 implementations.
Prior to this, Asfa held actuarial and leadership roles at leading organizations including ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, EY, and SBI Life Insurance.
She holds a bachelor's degree in commerce, an MBA and MS in Finance, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India.
