Vineet Maheshwari is the Chief Audit Officer of the company.

Vineet is responsible for providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of the organization’s risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. He leads operational, financial, and compliance audits, ensuring that the Audit Committee and senior leadership receive timely and reliable insights to support sound decision making.

Since joining PNB MetLife in 2015, Vineet has held several leadership roles. As Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Information Technology Officer, he co-developed enterprise strategy, drove business performance and market intelligence, leading multiple strategic and cross-functional initiatives. He also championed innovation by collaborating with new-age start-ups, oversaw the Data Science and analytics function, and directed the company’s technology and digital transformation agenda with strong emphasis on Cyber security, technology operations, and governance. In addition, he previously served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO.

With over two decades of experience across the insurance sector in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, Vineet brings deep industry expertise and a global perspective. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and earned a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Texas at Austin.
